Gabija Guzauskaite is a self-represented professional model, specializing in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. She resides in Chicago, but works throughout the Midwest as well as NYC and LA. Gabija has been modeling for the past two years, and has worked with Walgreen’s cosmetics, Wella Education, Soap & Glory USA (through Walgreen’s), and is currently one of the faces of Tricoci University. She has been published in Seventeen Magazine, Estetica USA, and the UK’s Faerie Magazine, just to name a few. She has worked with many other local, regional, and national brands as well.
Gabija began modeling in the summer of 2015, following her return from her trip to Italy. The first 6 months of her career consisted of portfolio building and non-stop test shoots. That winter she launched her website. She began attracting the attention of local boutiques and designers as she continued to market herself on social media. In the summer of 2016, a year into her modeling ventures, she was noticed by the beauty editor of the Walgreen’s beauty department. Gabija did her first beauty campaign with Walgreen’s for the fall 2016 campaign. Since then, she has also done their holiday 2016 campaign, their Soap & Glory advertising campaign, as well as their fall 2017 campaign. In the spring of 2017, Gabija was invited by the Tricoci University design team to participate in their Fades and Fringe model search. She ended up becoming one of the winners of the contest, and her campaign with Tricoci can be seen throughout billboards and CTA ads throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, as well as Seventeen Magazine and on location campuses. Gabija now travels between LA and NYC as well, having recently completed a jewelry campaign with AWE Fine Jewelry in NYC. She is also getting into acting, having recently starred as the lead actress in an upcoming short film called The Pride.
Besides modeling, Gabija recently graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago this past May with a degree in psychology and a minor in English. In her spare time, she likes to attend salsa dancing lessons, volunteer, and write creatively. She loves animals and working with kids, and hopes to become a school psychologist in the future.
