The Many Contributions of Garrett O. Thomas

Garrett Owen Thomas is a businessman, entrepreneur, writer and an advertising data analyst. He has been working in public relations for several years. He was born on March 3, 1987 in Oxnard, California.

He lived in Tucson (Arizona) for a while where his motive was fixed on restaurant publicity.
Eventually he moved to Houston (Texas), where he began working in technology publicity, promoting software and online publicity integration for Fortune 500 companies. After handling more than 12 contracts and overseeing thousands in contractual agreements, Thomas decided that he wanted to progress his career into the entertainment industry.

Thomas got a job as a celebrity publicist for Def Jam artist Jeremih in New York. While Thomas collaborated with Def Jam and CAA, Jeremih received a 2012 Billboard Awards nomination for his top R&B song Down on Me. From that point on, Thomas has worked with musicians, actors, and producers, promoting brands, educating them on publicity, and increasing his reach into a variety of areas in the entertainment industry.

In 2013, he built Press Harvest, a red carpet event that allowed users to submit themselves for media and talent at movie premieres and product releases. He began writing various columns with Backstage magazine to help aspiring actors and musicians build their publicity.

In 2015, he began working with WPP and Kantar Media, firms which focus on Advertising Expenditure, Reputation Management and Data Investment.

In 2016, he started his own company which came to be known as Tropic Laundry, a machine that tracks, analyzes, and enhances waste management systems to better determine products for classification, in hopes of limiting recyclable waste that is misclassified. As you should know by now, Garrett has contributed a great deal to society.
