The NBA season is here! All 30 teams has an aspiration on being in the NBA Finals and competing for a championship. That’s the beauty of the NBA season. Every team starts off with the same record. It’s the teams’ play over the season that will ultimately determine which club will be in the mix to secure the trophy.
In a continuance of last regular season and postseason, COVID-19 has everything off schedule. With the season timing pushed back, the NBA has done everything in its power to keep both players and staff safe.
For this issue, we take a look at the two franchises that we predict will be in the NBA Finals.

Los Angeles Lakers
Lebron James continues to show why he should be considered as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time). Coming into his 17th season, King James isn’t showing any signs of rust. He continues to be focal point of the Lakers. We anticipate him to average near a triple double for the regular season and playoffs. Along side with arguably the best power forward in the league in Anthony Davis, we think this pairing is virtually unstoppable. Davis’ ability to protect the paint and guard the rim will lead to many fast break points . His length, speed and ability to shoot from the perimeter is a perpetual nightmare for opposing defense. He’s literally unstoppable. The scary part is that he won his first championship with LeBron in the first year together under a “bubble” type atmosphere. We can only imagine what year two will bring.
The Lakers certainly has a great supporting cast for its two superstars. With Kyle Kuzma being able to hit consistent and timely 3 pointers, we think that he will have a breakout season and emerge as the team third budding superstar.
If the team can stay relatively healthy, there’s no reason to think this team can repeat the NBA Finals. We anticipate a back-to-back championship for city of angels.

Milwaukee Bucks
Coming off a disappointing exit at the hands of Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat, we believe Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will learn from the experience and get better. The multi-versatile NBA superstar is poised to take the next step in his career. We fully believe he will average a triple double for the regular season and will be named the league’s MVP. He will then use that momentum in the playoffs where he and the franchise will get their taste of the NBA Finals.
Finals Prediction:
LA Lakers overcomes the Milwaukee Bucks in six games. We have the Lakers going 4-2 and hoisting another banner at Staples Center.
