Teriyaki salmon is one of the most popular Japanese cuisine. Its rich Teriyaki sauce combine with a salmon does wonders for your taste buds. Teriyaki salmon is a quick savory and easy recipe to make for all occasions.


2 TBSP oil
2-3 Salmon filletS
4 tsp Soy sauce 
3 tsp Brown sugar
3 tsp Honey 
3/2 tsp grated Ginger 
3/2 tsp grated Garlic 

1 TBSP Spring scallion chopped (Optional) OR
Pinch of Sesame seeds (Optional)


     Place the skillet on medium low heat. Add the olive oil and when it starts shimmering, place the Salmon filletS in the pot. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side. 

Teriyaki Sauce 

        In a bowl put the Soy sauce, Brown sugar, Honey, grated Ginger and the grated Garlic whisk well. After cooking the Salmon fillets in both sides, add the Teriyaki sauce in the pot. Let it simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes until the sauce is thickened. 

Enjoy this delightful Japanese dish with some white rice or mashed potatoes.
