The Goodtime Hotel

The Goodtime Hotel is exactly what it sounds like – a good time, in fact the best time, where fun meets hospitality and hipster design. It’s the first lifestyle collaboration hotel brand between Pharrell Williams and David Grutman of Groot Hospitality. With 266 rooms and sprawling over 10,000 square feet of public space, the reimagined Art Deco design fits right in on Miami Beach. It stands out in a fashionable way and was brought to life on the premise that Pharrell Williams described as wanting to, “impart a feeling of both revitalization and that rare, exciting thrill that takes over when you discover something special.” When you walk into The Goodtime Hotel, you should feel excited to have space to have fun and find your own rhythm. Co-founder David Grutman elaborated that, “when you walk through our doors, it becomes a full on experience.” You’re immersed in a world that melds modernity with classic Miami charm.

Between 6th and 7th Streets, The Goodtime Hotel is conveniently located in historic and trendy South Beach. Its 266 rooms have mostly individual Queen beds with a handful of suites, many of which face either scenic Biscayne Bay or the Atlantic Ocean. Each guest room boasts bespoke bedding and drapes, flashy leopard print benches, luxurious Italian Ortigia bath amenities, and a pink rotary phone. For guests who love to get everything done in one place, The Goodtime Hotel also features a variety of food and shopping spaces, with Grutman’s Strawberry Moon, a restaurant and 30,000 square foot club, featuring higher-end and casual Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails, and 45,000 square feet of pure shopping. For guests who want to exercise, there’s also a gym with Peloton equipment, and the Library, a stately gathering place that doubles as a quiet space for work or relaxation after a night out. In short, there’s something for everyone at The Goodtime Hotel, especially for guests obsessed with Instagram!

Opening on April 15, 2021, The Goodtime Hotel offers free cancellations through December 31st, 2021. As the United States and the world slowly rebounds from COVID-19, The Goodtime Hotel is eager to offer everyone a welcome respite from what can be stressful times. Like the rest of Miami, it represents fun in the sun and living your best life.
